The Last Enemy

In 1 Corinthians 15:26 Paul writes this under the direction of the Holy Spirit. “The last enemy that shall be destroyed is death.”  Man Was Created to Live. In Gen. 2:7 Man became a living soul …And the LORD God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul. He was created for unbroken fellowship with God. Death came because of Sin. This was the one restriction in a perfect place. Gen. 3:3 But of the fruit of the tree which is in the midst of the garden, God hath said, Ye shall not eat of it, neither shall ye touch it, lest ye die. Disobedience brought death. Romans 5:12-14 Paul tells us: “Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned: (For until the law sin was in the world: but sin is not imputed when there is no law. Nevertheless, death reigned from Adam to Moses, even over them that had not sinned after the similitude of Adam's transgression, who is the figure of him that was to come.” We are all designed to worship Jesus and He alone. The enemy was defeated at the cross and believe it or not he is still defeated today!

Moses: Faith in Action

A great question for us all to ask ourselves this morning is: Do I practice faith? Is my faith in action? Today's message comes to us from Hebrews 11:23-29. The Chapter of Faith …When you read all of Hebrews chapter 11 you can understand why it is called a chapter of faith. One we see God’s march of mighty men and women. Faith is the assurance of things hoped for-the conviction of their reality. Moses: Most Like Us in His Struggles. We find not many called upon to build an ark (Noah).

We find we won’t have to hide spies on your roof (Rahab). We surely don’t see God starting a nation with you like he did (Abraham). But the choices made by Moses are real to all of us as we see how important faith is to all of us.

Some Things to Remember

Today’s message comes from Isaiah chapter 6. Here Isaiah gives us some things to remember. Looking back. Satisfying to think of souls saved. It is satisfying to see the number of people now serving the Lord. Paul says “Forgetting those things which are behind”. Having looked at the past, let us praise God and go on. Whatever God has done is all to Hid glory. Some Things to Remember:We need to remember the Holy character of our God. We must remember to keep a tender Christian conscience and lastly, we need always to remember to listen for the voice of God. He may be calling you to serve Him in the harvest. He has already called many open your heart you may be next.

Trouble Ahead

Today as we look at the book of Job chapter 38 and verses 22-23. We have an introduction to Job. The book of Job is the oldest book in the Bible. This book speaks about a righteous man. A man who was prospering in family, money, and property. We have heard about Job and his time of trouble. Job’s property taken; his family gone. Job’s health taken; words from his wife. God and His Word to Job in the ash pit. The finite holds no standard to guide your life. By finite, we mean all that has do with man’s wisdom. Man is finite; God is infinite.The future holds no secrets from God. The fortunes of earth hold no security to guarantee blessings. Get to know God today through Christ.

Saved to the Uttermost

In Hebrews 7:25 we read this “Wherefore he is able also to save them to the uttermost that come unto God by him, seeing he ever liveth to make intercession for them.” Have you ever asked yourself this question. Just what is the worlds message? Or should I say what is the message for the world? Is The Christian Message Salvation? Well we know it is and in todays message we will awnser for you three very important questions:

1. What Will Salvation Do? 2. To Whom Is Salvation Available?

Members of the Body

My question this morning is who are you? We know who we are supposed to be. In 1 Corinthians 12:12-31 Paul talks about the body. Dealing with a delicate subject is one upon which there is much disagreement and two one that should unite but instead divides. Don’t miss the most important issue one your need is not doctrine but deliverance. It is not sectarian but salvation. Paul tells us to make the gospel plain. Unity In the body of Christ

These are the bond that builds the body of Christ. Love that ties it all together shows us that kind of prayer that such love will be ours.

I Am Debtor

We read in Romans 1:14-17 Paul gives us word from the Holy Spirit. Some think the world owes them a living.

Laziness, Grumbling when all is not going well. Paul thought he owed the world something. God had rescued Paul from heartache and hell. Paul ever sought to bring other men to the divine good news. Paul, the man in debt (v.14). A man in debt is a man who has received something. In debt: a car, a home, food, service. To whom must Paul pay his debt? Todays message will answer the question who are you in debt too.

America: Her Greatest Enemy, Her Greatest Asset, and Her Greatest Opportunity

Our text: Proverbs 14:34

Give me liberty or give me death. The cry that roused our forefathers to fight for liberty. Perhaps not since that time has America stood so close to that choice. Today I Want to Thank God for America. Certainly raised up by God for His purposes, including missionary activity. May she be free until Jesus comes.

America and the world in great peril. Today's message will focus on three points: America - Her Greatest Enemy, America-Her Greatest Asset, and America - Her Greatest Opportunity. I pray this message will bring encouragement to you this 4th of July.

The Lord’s Prayer on Father’s Day

In the book of Matthew 6:9-13 Jesus said, “After this manner therefore pray ye: Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread. And forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors. And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil: For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, forever. Amen”.

What Easy Father’s Day Lessons Are Found in This Prayer? It Speaks of the Father. It Speaks of the Future.

It Speaks of Food. It Speaks of Forgiveness. It Speaks of Freedom and It ends With Assurance About Forever. These are very important lessons from our Lord.
