Burden Lifting Day
Sunday Dec 12, 2021
Sunday Dec 12, 2021
Today our message comes from Luke 1:5-17. “Burden Lifting Day”
God’s Prophetic Plan is Always on Schedule. Some periods seem to witness a faster pace of fulfillment. Examples of seemingly slow times in scripture are: Israel in captivity 400 years, The 400 years of silence. And there also examples of swift fulfillment: The deliverance from Egypt, The time of the birth of Christ, and This present time. Then we see the Curtains open for the preparation for the birth of Christ. This preparation begins by the announcement of another birth, John the son of Zacharias and Elizabeth. Zacharias was a priest and Elisabeth of the line of Aaron. Today we look at the burden in their lives. Then we will as
burden-lifting day arrived. When their burden was lifted, the blessings were far greater that what they expected. My question to you is what is your burden? Your area of defeat? Your need? You need to know God will meet your need today.

Back to Basics
Sunday Dec 05, 2021
Sunday Dec 05, 2021
In 1 Timothy 6:6-11 we are taught that getting back to the basics in the church is vitally important. There is the importance of prayer. The importance of loving one another. The importance of loving souls. But most the importance of living each day in the light of His coming.
Paul’s call for a return to basics in daily living. We ofter think of success in the eyes of the world you know Fame, wealth ect…
But True success… “loving the Lord thy God with all thine heart, soul, and mind.” There are four things I want to review in getting back to basics in the Christian life: Godliness (v.6), Contentment, Understanding (vv.9-10), and Goals (v.11).

When God Answers Prayer
Sunday Nov 28, 2021
Sunday Nov 28, 2021
The Psalmist David tells us in Psalm 28:6-7 “Blessed be the LORD, because he hath heard the voice of my supplications. The LORD is my strength and my shield; my heart trusted in him, and I am helped: therefore my heart greatly rejoiceth; and with my song will I praise him.” So who do you know who has not prayed in times of trouble? Praying in crises is as natural as breathing …believe it or not even those who are not believers when they are in the mist of a crises will pray, not always but yes even they realize there is a higher power than themselves. Praising God for answers is another matter. It seems after the storm, we often forget who rescued us. When the answers come, we may forget to give thanks to the One who gave us the answer. The Psalmist raised his voice in grateful praise. He is a good example to us all…as the Psalmist raised his voice in grateful praise we ought to also raise our voice
Todays message will help us consider his reason for thankfulness.

The Parable of the Wheat and the Tares
Wednesday Nov 17, 2021
Wednesday Nov 17, 2021
In Matthew 13:24-30, 36-43 Jesus gives the meaning of this parable. In fact, all parables in this chapter teach us about God and His kingdom. They explain what the kingdom is really like as opposed to our expectations of it. The Kingdom of Heaven is not a geographic location, but a spiritual realm where God rules and where we share in His eternal life. In this message, we will look at three things: One, the Lord and His eternal purpose, two
the sinner and His eternal perdition, and the Christian and the eternal prize.

The Rat Race
Sunday Oct 31, 2021
Sunday Oct 31, 2021
Ecclesiastes 2 Solomon gives us a look into our life. On a Graduation Card: “Welcome to the Rat Race”. The right expression to describe today’s hurried pace. Why This Busy Pace in Our Day. One: To maintain this thing we call standard of living, and Two: The search for the meaning of life. The man in the Rat Race long ago: Solomon. I want us to look at three things in this massage: The Rat Race, How to Know If You Are in the Rat Race, and How to Get Out of the Rat Race and Into the Right Race. I trust this message will help you move forward in the Lord Jesus.

Naaman’s Cleansing
Sunday Oct 24, 2021
Sunday Oct 24, 2021
In 2 Kings 5: 1-14 we are told of a mighty worrier a Captain a man with a passion for power. But was a man who had a great problem called “Leprosy” it would be like having aids today. There is a reason for this recording in the scriptures and that is I believe we are trying so hard to do things our own way instead looking at the avenues Jesus has for us to take. I pray this message will move you in the direction God has for you and you will allow yourself to let Him be your soul director.

From Death to Life
Sunday Oct 17, 2021
Sunday Oct 17, 2021
In John 11:38-44 Jesus brings Lazarus back to life. The wonderful tenth chapter of John. What a background for this Scripture. The stoning incident and Jesus’ departure for another place. The success and revival there. The call to come to the aide of Lazarus. Jesus responds despite the danger. The resurrection of Lazarus. A picture of the salvation of any sinner. Dead in sin; through salvation made spiritually alive. See then the lesson for us: The Responsibility of the disciples in bringing life. (Remove the stone). The resurrection Itself Was Entirely by the Power of God. The great miracle Lazarus dead for four days. The release of Lazarus was done by the disciples. Alive but bound …Alive by the very calling of Jesus “Lazarus come forth” …death had to obey the voice of creation. The stone had to be rolled away for Lazarus to be freed. Todays message will help to expose the stone that is blocking your relationship with Jesus.

Afraid of What?
Tuesday Oct 12, 2021
Tuesday Oct 12, 2021
1 Peter 5:7 “Casting all your care upon him; for he careth for you”. A great scripture for troubled people. You are in this verse. Your cares are in this verse. Jesus is in this verse. But what are the cares that trouble people? What makes people afraid to face life and their problems?
Fears concerning those we love, fears concerning health, fears concerning financial security. The fear of people. The fear of failure and of success. The fear of death, which involves the fear of eternity.
There is a lot of people living in all kinds of fear. I hope today that this message will move you from fear to victory.

Things Have Just Begun

In Philippians 1:6 Paul says (Being confident of this very thing, that he which hath begun a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ: The Book of Philippians. A book of peace (Phil. 4:7) And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus. …God’s peace is different from the world’s peace. It is not found in positive thinking, in absence of conflict, or in good feelings. You see real peace comes from knowing that because God is in control, our citizenship Christ’s Kingdom is sure, our destiny is set, and our victory over sin is certain. Christ provides the strength (Phil. 4:13) I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me. …Paul was content because he could see life from God’s point of view. He focused on what he was supposed to do, not what he felt he should have. He had his priorities straight and was grateful for everything God has given him. He had detached himself from the nonessentials so that he could concentrate on the eternal.
Often the desirer more or better possessions is really a longing to fill an empty space one’s life. To what are you drawn when you feel empty inside? How can you find true contentment? The answer lies in your perspective, your priorities, and your source of power.
Introduction to the Book. Written about ten years after Paul’s first visit.
From a prison cell with the shadow of death hanging over him. Philippi: chief city of Macedonia, named after King Philip, father of Alexander the Great. Fertile soil, gold and silver mines, on the route to Asia.
