“Free At Last” In Mark 5:1-20 we read about a demon-possessed man who made his home in the cemetery. It all takes place when Jesus and His disciples leave the multitude cross the Sea of Galilee. While  crossing the Sea of Galilee (4:35-41). There came a great storm; and of course the disciples were unsure of their fait as being fishermen they knew a storm like this could take their very lives. Jesus then speaks to the storm. “Peace Be Still” (4:39) …the amazement of those in the ship crossing over when the storm came “Not uncommon”  the amazing was Jesus speaking to the wind and waves…and they did as He said! Once they reached the other shore they Met the demon-possessed man of gadarenes. Now meeting the demon-possessed man of Gadarenes. 

 It is not far from peace to problems…Amen…life is a roller coaster many ups and downs, twists, and turns…and when its over your head is spinning. The storm prepared them form this encounter…you know the storms you face from time to time prepare you for encounters you have yet to go through…

I trust todays message will encourage you in your storm.

“Feeding Hungry People” we find in  John 6:1-14 A miracles to the multitude. 

 Many followed Jesus to see His miracles. People especially moved by His power to heal. The importance of taking time away from the crowd. A questions arose when the crowd approached again. Where can we buy food for all these people?

How shall we feed this hungry crowd? When facing problems, remember His power. Problems come to all no one excluded. Little is much when given to Jesus. Andrew finds a boy. Some focus on problems; while others find people with solutions. We must be willing to obey before we are ready to Blessed “Make the men sit down”.  How humbling this sitting and waiting. Nothing disorganized about Jesus.

In Mark 3:1-6 Jesus tells us about a man with a withered hand.

Before this we see Jesus disciples picking corn on the Sabbath. Mark 2:23-28. We see the criticism by the Pharisees because this was wrong in their eyes see no one was to any kind of work on the Sabbath. The scripture tells us Jesus is Lord of the Sabbath. Now its on to the Synagogue to make the message plain. There Jesus will meet and heal a troubled man and He will do so in spite of the consequences to Himself. You see Jesus has many lessons for us the unique thing is Jesus has gone through things we are going through now.

David the Psalmist in Psalm 92:1 says; (A Psalm or Song for the sabbath day.) It is a good thing to give thanks unto the LORD, and to sing praises unto thy name, O most High: Many calls to praise in the Psalms. It is full of  invitations to join praise: The superiority of praise. You will find it better to praise than panic, we even find its better to praise than be to pessimistic and better to praise than to be problem-conscious. Todays message we will examine these calls to praise.

 Paul talks about Communion in 1 Corinthians 11:23-34. What Communion is all about. The first Communion service in 1 Corinthians (verses.23-25). Sharing bread and fruit of the vine, 

Bread: symbol of His body, Fruit of the vine: symbol of His blood. I want you to know what Communion is not. It is not a means of salvation, It is not a meaningless formal ceremony. The Lord’s Table: A place to leave some useless things. Ask yourself what do you need to leave with the Lord.

In Acts 11:19-26 Paul shares all about believers receiving a New Name: Christians. It began at Antioch, a Greek city. How did it happen? …this is what I want us to look at and explore how this fits into our lives …Now many of you have seen the insurance commercial where the man says there are the three P’s:  Price,  Price, and Price. Four Words Tell The Story and like the insurance commercial that all start with you guessed it the P’s…Persecution…Preaching…Power…Proof. We Have to Follow This Trail of P’s to the Truth. I trust this message will encourage you in your walk as a believer
