When we read in Colossians 3:8-14 Paul make a great case for daily living. Great Doctrine Make Great Daily Living It's not enough merely to agree to certain doctrines. We must translate our beliefs into life as to have good moral standards to live by. The Colossians Accepted Some Great Doctrine One Redemption through Christ’s blood Paul shares in Colossians (1:14). Two The preeminence of Christ again Paul tells us of in Colossians (1:18). And last of all the indwelling presence of Christ we find in Colossians (1:28). Walking Safely on the Danger Trail

In Colossians 2. Paul’s concern for the Colossian Christians.    Paul gives a warning about enticements to sin and error (Paul records in verse 4) And this I say, lest any man should beguile you with enticing words. …what is being said here…let me be frank as to what Paul is saying in our language today… “the smooth talkers”  The key word in the chapter: “Beware” (v.8) Beware  lest any man spoil you through philosophy and vain deceit, after the tradition of men, after the rudiments of the world, and not after Christ. …The world is full of enticements things that would distract from the word of God. The journey we are on, on in this world is just temporary. We must stay focused on the things above…

Prophetic Lessons in a Cemetery

Ezekiel 37:1-14

 

Ezekiel’s Strange Vision. A trip to the cemetery reveals a valley of human bones. The bones come together, they have flesh but no breath in them and Finally breath comes, and they become an army. So what could be the meaning of this vision that Ezekiel has? (1) The bones represent Israel. (2) The graves are the nations to which Israel has been scattered. (3) The moving of the bones is their return to their land. (4) Breath and life speak of their future conversion to Christ. This message I hope will speak the “Life Principles from This Prophetic Picture.”

Heirs with the Saints and the King

Paul Calls for Thankful People. He had written about his thankful heart. He had written about his thankful heart.

• Partakers of grace (Phil. 1:7)
• Partakers of Christ’s sufferings (1 Peter 4:13)
• Partakers of the divine nature (2 Peter 1:4)
